Steve Martter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. Steve has over 25 years experience in the HVAC industry. He began his career in the Dallas area working for Mitchell Technical Sales, Slack Buckner Systems and Texas Air Systems. Steve relocated to Corpus Christi in 2001 when the McQuay product line became available in the territory. Steve has been striving ever since to keep Perry Mechanical Systems a customer oriented company that provides products and services to meet the needs of a demanding industry.
Jason King is a registered engineer in the state of Texas. Jason received a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University with a focus on energy conservation. Upon graduation from college, he went to work for TDIndustries in Dallas, TX for 5 years in the design-build department as a Mechanical engineer. Most of his work was design related with some project management and estimating duties for one of the 10 largest mechanical contractors in the United States. He received his PE license while working at TDIndustries and soon thereafter moved back home to McAllen, TX. He worked with D&F Industries, a mechanical and electrical contractor, for four years in the Rio Grande Valley prior to becoming a partner in Perry Mechanical Systems in 2006.
Ed Majors’ background is in operations. Most recently, Ed spent 19 years working for Texas State Aquarium where he rose through the ranks to the position of Chief Operations Officer. As the Chief Operations Officer he oversaw the day to day operations of the Aquarium and its nearly 200 employees. Key departments under his supervision included: Operations, Guest Services, Retail, Food Service, and Physical Plant. He also oversaw the administration of the Aquarium’s commercial insurance program. As COO, he acted as the liaison with the City of Corpus Christi, State of Texas and Army Corp of Engineers on special projects. In 2012, Ed was brought on to put this experience in operations to use in helping as Perry Mechanical Systems continues to grow as a company.
Brennan Vierra received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Brennan was introduced to the HVAC industry when he interned with Johnson Controls in the Summer of 2007. After graduation, he started working with HTS, an HVAC manufacturer’s rep that represents Daikin-McQuay and other products. He started working with Industrial owners and engineers before moving into working more with the K-12 schools districts and engineers. In 2014, Brennan moved down to the Rio Grande Valley to be closer to family.
Jonathan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly UM-Rolla). Jonathan has 7 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He began his career in the South Dakota area working for Adams Thermal Systems designing A/C systems and liquid engine cooling systems for large construction equipment and then for Trane Company in applied equipment sales. In 2012, Jonathan relocated to the Rio Grande Valley to open up a sales office for Mechanical Reps Inc as a contractor and owner sales rep. In 2015, Jonathan accepted a position in Corpus Christi to become an equipment sales rep for Perry Mechanical. Jonathan is a member of the South Texas chapter of ASHRAE.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University. Patrick has 9 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He began his HVAC career as a building automation technician for Siemens Building Technologies while in college. After graduating Patrick worked for Johnson Controls as an Account Executive in Houston for a combined 6 years, he also worked for an HVAC company that specialized in design & installation of HVAC systems for the offshore oil industry. Patrick moved to Corpus Christi in 2016 to join the Perry Mechanical Systems team. Patrick received his LEED AP accreditation in 2009, and is a board member of the South Texas chapter of ASHRAE.
